The Board of Trustees is the supreme management body of the EUA. According to the EUA Charter, the Board of Trustees:

  1. Determines the main directions of the University’s activity;
  2. Forms the executive body of the University and the early termination of its powers;
  3. Establishes the procedure and conditions for the payment of remuneration and compensation;
  4. Approves the basic documents regulating the structure and activities of the University;
  5. Approves the annual expenditure estimate within the approved annual budget;
  6. Approves the composition of the Scientific Council of the University;
  7. Appoints the Rector and upon the Rector’s presentation to the Vice-Rectors and Head of Administrative and Financial Director;
  8. Implements other powers defined by the laws of RA and the EUA Regulation.

Issues that are within the powers of the EUA Board of Trustees cannot be transferred to any other body.
