A monitoring at the European University of Armenia

    A monitoring of professional educational programs was conducted today at the European University of Armenia by the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA). Within the framework of the monitoring of the "Jurisprudence" educational program, meetings were held with the management staff, responsible person of the program, professors, students and representatives of the Quality Assurance Department at EUA.

    The purpose of the monitoring was to highlight the best practices in the educational program, the implementation of tasks aimed at the formation of professional thinking among students, the role of feedback in order to achieve the final results. At the core of the discussions were the processes aimed at the formation of the legal mindset, in particular, the presence of assignments that form professional skills and abilities in the educational program, the need for lesson planning and the verification of defined end results using clear assessment methods and tools, the importance of feedback as an integral part of formative assessment, etc. During the discussions, the implementation of the Improvement Plan drawn up after the accreditation process was also considered, highlighting the recorded successes, existing challenges and opportunities to overcome them.

    At the end of the monitoring, the main results of the monitoring and the directions for improvement were summarized.
