From April 30 to May 2, 2025, the European University of Armenia participated in the prestigious annual Global Education and Training Exhibition - GETEX 2025, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was officially opened by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the UAE. Recognized as the most visited education and training exhibition in the UAE this year, the event serves as a leading platform for education and professional development, bringing together local and international academic institutions. The opening ceremony was also attended by rectors, vice-rectors, professors, and representatives of academic institutions from all major universities in the region, marking the launch of the 2025 edition of the region’s most important education and training event.
Featuring over 900 academic programmes in management, medicine, engineering, finance and IT, among other emerging fields, today GETEX is positioned as a vital catalyst in shaping the future of learning in the region. It was held at the Dubai World Trade Center. This year, more than 200 universities from 30 different countries participated in the Exhibition, offering students about 2,500 course options. As a result, the event was visited by about 20,000 visitors. In the context of the most important phase of internationalization and the activation of international cooperation, the participants of the EUA proudly presented their beloved university on a prestigious international platform, reached numerous agreements and partners, and opened up new opportunities to implement international projects.
